One of our favorite photographers of all time, Akil Bennett, posted some photos from Vanessa and Javier's wedding this past March. It was hands down one of the most energetic weddings we've done!

DIY Photo Booth
Love this DIY project featured on Ruffled! Guests go crazy for photo booths, and this one can be made to uniquely fit your wedding. Just find some wallpaper and a frame that conveys your wedding style, and you have a custom photo booth for under $100! Spice it up with some adorable props (think glasses, hats, boas, maracas). This would make for an amazing guest favor and a fun scrapbook for you.
Not feeling crafty, but still love the idea of adding a photo booth to your event? Check out Funky Monkey Photo Booth. You can even get your photo booth images hosted online for 3 months, so guests can see what everyone was up to in the photo booth all night.

We’re Growing!
I am pleased to introduce Something Planned’s newest coordinator, Reema Tandan!
Reema has been planning events since her high school years; from the annual homecoming dance to end of semester banquets for her sorority in college. Reema graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2004 and moved back to her home town of Houston where she began working at the Houston Symphony in non-profit fundraising. She is currently employed at Holocaust Museum Houston as the Manager of Member Services. Through her career in fundraising, Reema has planned many events for donors, prospective donors and young professionals.
A few words from Reema…
I am so ecstatic to be the newest coordinator of Something Planned, LLC! It is such an honor to be working with Cheri and learning so much from her. Event planning has always been such a passion of mine. It is the one job in the world that I knew I would enjoy doing everyday – from planning the small personal details to creating the final product that everyone will remember. I look forward to working with you in helping make your wedding day a dream come true.
